Barley Snyder

Lancaster-based law firm Barley Snyder has hired five new associates.

Anthony Austin returns to Barley Snyder after participating in the firm’s summer associate program in 2023. A graduate of Penn State Dickinson Law, he also interned for the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General’s consumer protection bureau and for the Pennsylvania Treasury Board of Finance and Revenue. He also worked as a summer associate for another regional law firm based in Harrisburg. He has a bachelor’s degree in business management with honors from Penn State. He is based in the firm’s Lancaster office.

R. Caleb Doyle joined as a member of the firm’s litigation practice group. He is a graduate of Boston College Law School and York College of Pennsylvania. He worked as a summer associate at a Delaware-based law firm in corporate litigation and bankruptcy. In addition, Doyle completed a legal externship at the Office of the New York State Attorney General and a legal internship at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. He also worked as a settlement coordinator at a real estate/estate planning law firm in Delaware and as a paralegal at a small law firm in York. Doyle is based in the firm’s York office.

Michael Jannuzzi joined as a member of the firm’s intellectual property practice group and returns to Barley Snyder after completing a co-op at the firm. During that time, he worked alongside IP attorneys. Jannuzzi graduated from the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law. He has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Penn State. Jannuzzi previously served as a summer associate at a niche IP law firm where he worked on claim drafting, prior art searches and other matters relating to patent prosecution. He is based in the firm’s Malvern office.

Jonah Markle returns to Barley Snyder after working as a summer associate at the firm in 2023. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and of Duquesne University. Most recently, Markle worked as a certified legal intern in the University of Pittsburgh School of Law’s Elder Law Clinic and Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic where he represented clients in guardianship proceedings and helped them with drafting testamentary documents. He also completed an internship with a small law firm in the Pittsburgh area. Markle is based in the firm’s Reading office.

Curtis Tokach returns to Barley Snyder after participating in the firm’s summer associate program in 2023. He is a graduate of Saint Joseph’s University and of Widener University Commonwealth Law School where he served as internal managing editor of the Widener Commonwealth Law Review. While in law school, Tokach worked as a judicial clerkship extern for the Honorable Susan E. Schwab, U.S. Magistrate Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Tokach is based in the firm’s Harrisburg office.
