Stephen Loiseau has been named vice president of corporate development for PennSpring Capital. It is a new role for the Lancaster-based private equity firm and involves overseeing growth for companies in PennSpring’s investment portfolio.
Loiseau worked most recently as a sales rep for tech startup Motive. He also has experience as a principal in a real estate investment platform, where he took a lead role in M&A.
His immediate focus at PennSpring will be on Kentucky-based software company PSST and Lancaster-based environmental consulting firm EHC Associates.
“We are confident that his leadership will unlock significant growth opportunities for our portfolio companies,” PennSpring managing partner Lou Castelli said in a statement.
Other companies in the PennSpring portfolio include text-marketing firm Mobiniti and virtual-assistant service Zirtual, which recently closed on its third acquisition this year.
