Vikram Dasgupta has been named treasurer of Mid Penn Bank, the chief operating subsidiary of Mid Penn Bancorp. In what is a new role for the Millersburg-based bank, he will focus on strategies related to interest rate risk, capital and liquidity management.
Dasgupta worked most recently as head of finance transformation for trade and treasury services at New York-based Citigroup. He also worked previously in the treasury group at JP Morgan.
” We are excited to have Vikram join our team,” Mid Penn CFO Justin Webb said in a statement. “He brings extensive strategic finance experience to the bank as we compete in the current complex banking environment.”
Mid Penn has assets of $5 billion and operates a network of 45 branches in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
