Doceo, a York-based technology services company, plans to move its headquarters this fall to a former Ruby Tuesday restaurant in York Township.
The 6,000 square-foot space is larger than the 4,300 square feet the company currently rents in a multi-tenant building at 1499 S. Queen St. in Spring Garden Township, according to spokesperson Maya Miller. It is also in a highly visible location near Interstate 83.
A partnership linked to Doceo paid $950,000 for the former restaurant at 255 St. Charles Way, according to county deed records. Ruby Tuesday, which had owned the space, closed the restaurant in 2019.
Doceo is renovating the space with the help of York-based design firm mulà group. Once completed, the space will accommodate up to 20 employees.
“This move represents another significant milestone for our fast-growing technology company,” Doceo president and CEO John Lewis said in a statement. “The new space will better accommodate our growing team and enables us to hire additional talent to continue to provide support and service to our local clients.”
