A buyer with a growing portfolio of Pennsylvania shopping centers has added another one.
A partnership led by Leo Ullman of New York-based retail developer Vastgood Properties paid $6.63 million at the end of April for Shippensburg Marketplace, according to Brad Rohrbaugh, executive vice president and retail director for York-based Bennett Williams Commercial.
Rohrbaugh and Bennett Williams agents Chad Stine and Abe Khan represented the buyer and the seller, a real estate investment trust called Global Net Lease.
Built in the early 2000s, the 59,865 square-foot Shippensnburg Marketplace at 397 Baltimore Road is anchored by a Giant grocery store.
Bennett Williams is marketing inline spaces for lease, as well as a pad site previously occupied by Santander Bank.
The buyer: Vastgood operates several shopping centers in Pennsylvania, including Parkway Plaza in Mechanicsburg and Stonehedge Square in Carlisle, according to its website.
In York County, the company operates Dillsburg Shopping Center, East Manchester Village, Newberry Commons Shopping Center and Two Guys Commons.
