Robert Pontz has joined Lancaster-based law firm Saxton & Stump as chair of the bankruptcy and financial restructuring group. Pontz also is now a shareholder of the firm and a member of its business/corporate and banking/financial services groups.
Pontz, who has more than three decades of legal experience, was most recently a partner at Lancaster-based Brubaker Connaughton Goss & Lucarelli.
He is a member of the executive board of the Pennsylvania Dutch Council of the Boy Scouts of America and vice president of the Rock Ford Foundation board of trustees. He is also an elder and he has served as a member of the youth ministry team at Chestnut Level Presbyterian Church in Quarryville.
