Podcast: Welcoming Workplaces

Last fall, the York County Economic Alliance rolled out an initiative called Welcoming Workplaces. Its end goal is to promote inclusion, diversity and shared prosperity in the region.

But the initiative also involves something of a journey for the organizations that have elected to take part.

Marissa Bankert, executive director of IEC Pennsylvania; Anika Jackson, vice president of diversity, equity and inclusion at Family First Health; and Janna Jamison, employee relations manager at OSS Health, share insights from that journey in the latest edition of the YCEA podcast, produced in partnership with biznewsPA. They spoke July 27 at a YCEA Economics Club event.

The next meeting of the YCEA Economics Club is scheduled for Aug. 31 at the Wyndham Garden York. The topic will be the creative sector economy. More information is available here.
