When Covid-19 struck in March 2020, it upended the livelihoods of people who built careers around art, music, theater and other cultural pursuits that thrive on live audiences.
Arts and culture are bouncing back, like other sectors of the economy. But they still have some ways to go to reach their pre-pandemic state, according to Karl Blischke, executive director of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, and Kelley Gibson, president of the Cultural Alliance of York County.
