Zirtual, a portfolio company of Lancaster-based investment firm PennSpring Capital, is branching out.
The virtual-assistant service has acquired Del.Trust, a company that offers virtual paralegal services to attorneys and law firms nationwide. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Del.Trust founder Jaclyn Foster is joining Zirtual as president of its newly established paralegal services division.
“She is the ideal leader and connector to quickly scale Zirtual’s virtual paralegal division, and she will also be an excellent resource for other business owners seeking to partner with PennSpring,” PennSpring managing partner Lou Castelli said in a statement,
Del.Trust is the second acquisition for Zirtual since it was purchased by PennSpring in December. In February, Zirtual bought Delegated, a provider of elite virtual assistants.
The background: Zirtual provides U.S.-based virtual assistants to a range of clients, from health systems to investment managers.
The assistants help clients with tasks ranging from managing their calendars and posting on social media to booking travel and tracking expenses.
PennSpring makes venture capital, private equity and real estate investments.
Other companies in its porfolio include text-messaging service Mobiniti and environmental services and consulting firm EHC Associates.
