David Callejo Pérez has been named chancellor and dean of Penn State Harrisburg. He had been the school’s interim chancellor and dean.
Callejo Pérez joined Penn State in 2019 as associate president and senior associate dean for academic programs for the university’s Commonwealth Campuses. He was interim vice president of Commonwealth Campuses before being named interim chanceller at Penn State Harrisburg in 2023.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Florida International University, a master’s degree in history from the University of Mississippi and a doctorate in instructional leadership from Florida International University.
