Jennifer Glassmyer has been named director of administration and events for York-based Investment Real Estate Group of Companies, operator of Moove In Self Storage facilities.
She will work for both Investment Real Estate and Pink Power, a nonprofit that raises money and awareness for local breast cancer patients. Pink Power was founded by Denise Gilliland, whose husband, John, is founder and CEO of Investment Real Estate. Glassmyer is expected to play a pivotal role in enhancing the operational and event management aspects of both organizations.
Her responsibilities will include overseeing event logistics, managing communications and social media, and fostering relationships with sponsors and donors for Pink Power, as well as coordinating company events and special projects
Glassmyer brings almost 30 years of experience in customer service, event management, sales and fundraising. Before joining Investment Real Estate and Pink Power, she was campaign director for the Cultural Alliance of York County.
