Diana Martin has been named director of the high impact portfolio of the High Foundation, effective Nov. 4. It is a new role for theLancaster-based foundation and focuses on environmental and affordable-housing initiatives.
Martin is currently executive director of Hourglass, a nonprofit focused on quality-of-life issues in Lancaster County.
“It has been an honor to lead this organization and work alongside passionate individuals who are deeply about Lancaster County’s future,” Martin said Friday in a farewell email.
The High Foundation has been the beneficiary of two major gifts from its namesake High family.
In early 2022, the Highs transferred their ownership of High Industries to the foundation, a gift valued at $115.2 million. In late 2023, the family transferred ownership of High Real Estate Group. The value of the real estate firm has not been disclosed.
The gifts are boosting charitable giving by the foundation, which had assets of nearly $128 million at the end of 2023, according to tax records available on GuideStar.
