A $195M wish list for Central Pennsylvania

Every year, developers and local officials around Pennsylvania ask for funding from a state program called the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program, or RACP.

Last year, projects in Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon and York counties took home more than $39 million.

But grants are not guaranteed. The program is competitive and many projects walk away empty-handed. This year, developers and local governments are seeking more than $195 million in grants.

The total represents a wish list of projects in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon and York. The list below comes from the statewide list published April 12 by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.
