The newsletter is entirely supported by ad revenue. It is what got us here. But it may not be the best path forward.
My goal is to increase the depth and breath of business news we consistently provide to the business leaders who value it.
Continuing and expanding our news coverage will require more resources. And a rethinking of my mission.
While ads will continue as part of our support, I believe that our readers would rather see more in-depth local business news and insights than more ads.
So we are starting a paid subscription option that will allow us to increase our local business news coverage in the best way for our readers. This will also provide us the resources to resist the need for more frequent, intrusive ads that take away from the reader experience.
