While much has been said about the barriers faced by women in business, you are likely to come away surprised nonetheless by what Sandy Bialek, Jen Heasley and Ashana Taylor have to say.

The three York County women share their experiences as entrepreneurs in this edition of the YCEA Podcast, produced in partnership with biznewsPA.

Bialek is founder, owner and manager of the Fat Bat Brewing Co. in Hanover; Heasley is owner of Sweet Mama’s Mambo Sauce and The Game Day Kitchen Catering Co.; Taylor is founder and owner of Fire Life Yoga and Wellness. They spoke in March at a meeting of the YCEA Economics Club about their entrepreneurial journey and the boost they got from YCEA’s Bloom Small Business Empowerment Center.

The next meeting of the YCEA Economics Club is scheduled for April 26 at the Wyndham Garden York. It will offer an update on early childhood learning, a priority for many in the business community.
